OTH - Episode 16 Screenwriter’s Blues Reaction

The last 5 minutes of the show tonight made up for a less than stellar first 50 minutes of the show tonight. Probably not my favorite episode save the ending. But of course a few comments.

Jamie was so cute…of course. Maybe a little over the top but come on, he’s so cute!

I actually was enjoying Dan talking to another adult and it not be all about how he killed someone. Except that it turned into how he killed someone.

Brooke following Brooke was hilarious, and annoying.

I loved the new Nathan fighting for the other guy’s spot on the team. That was so very Lucas of him to do.

I loved all the people practicing famous OTH lines. Funny how it was freaking them out.

So nice to see Haley actually say more than two lines tonight. I missed her and Lucas together.

I thought they picked a good Peyton. Not perfect on the looks, but I thought she acted a lot like Peyton.

The comment about Dixon and playing Lucas and Peyton the night before was hilarious!

Loved the Team Peyton onesie!

Brulian…boy I hope these two last. He fought for her!!! I loved how they tied the script into that last scene. I loved what he said. I love Brulian! Brooke found a mathlete…he’s like Mouth but cuter! (sorry, Lee, I love you!)

Leyton. That scene at the end was so sweet. I love, love, love that Lucas remembered the appointment and then about cried when they heard the heartbeat together. Awwww!!

OTH - Episode 15 We Change, We Wait Reaction

OK. Let me be honest. Not my favorite episode ever. But there are some blogworthy comments.

Lucas taking Peyton to the lake was just awesome. But her getting Keith’s ring was awesome-er.

I love, love, love, Brooke and Julian. That is all.

Brooke and Peyton were so great together. I love that Peyton had to back up and go tell Brooke she was wrong about Julian. I just love the fact that she WAS wrong about Julian.

Lucas and Julian are actually so cute together.

Dixon needs to GO AWAY. It’s almost hard to watch scenes that he is in.

Good to see Nathan do well. And I have to be honest. I STILL feel bad for Dan. I’ve said it for a long time. It’s time for Nathan to let go and let him in.

OTH - Episode 14 A Hand to Take Hold of the Scene Reaction

What a great episode! This was a fun one, nothing too depressing or overwhelming. I think Chad did a GREAT job directing. Here are some favorite things from tonight:

Jamie and Andre playing poker! But give Lucas back that watch! He looked hot in that!

Sam and Brooke were hilarious in this episode. I love how Sam ratted her out a few times.

Peyton’s dress was gorgeous!

Mia looked hot!

The Chris Keller “Punch first, ask questions later” was so awesome. I LOVE when they bring other seasons back in like that.

Baby Brooke clothes! That was great!

I am ALL OVER the Brulian! It was FANTABULOUS seeing Brooke kissing a guy again. And Julian! He’s so hot! Lucky girl! I love how neither one of them wanted to make it complicated.

Karaoke scenes. Those were HILARIOUS. We were cracking up laughing. Poor James can’t dance and it’s so funny to watch him. Jamie and Andre were throwin down though and they are SO CUTE!

The walkie-talkie scene with Nathan/Lucas/Jamie was SO GREAT. Like make me want to cry great. First Nathan saying that Peyton was going to be a superhero as a mom and then him saying he’d be there for them. And then Lucas saying he was playing walke talkie with his brother. And THEN Jamie saying Roger that, over and out. OMG. It was almost too much! What a great ending!

Not too interesting tonight…

Mouth and Millie. Seriously. It’s just. I don’t know. Boring. I’m sorry. I know it’s supposed to be all drama-y and heart-wrenching but..it just wasn’t for me. I did like the Brooke/Mouth scene though. Good to see them together.

Sam/Jack. The hand-holding thing was cute but really? Who cares about Jack? Sorry.

I’m a huge Leyton fan but if I hear them say they love each other one more time…I don’t know…come up with something else to say. And we all know how wonderful this baby is going to be and how great of parents they’ll be now. Let’s move on.

OTH - Episode 13 Things a Mama Don’t Know Reaction

OMG! That was awesome!!! What a way to come back after six weeks! There was much screaming, gasping and clapping on that one!! Let’s get to it!

• I have to start with Peyton and Lucas. OMMMMGGGG!!! They’re pregnant. Now honestly, I was completely expecting that but WOW, I did NOT expect it to be at the beginning of the episode. I loved the Baby Daddy comment and someone needs to make me a Baby Daddy avatar stat! I loved that she was so worried what Lucas would think. It didn’t bother me a bit that she had to tell him over the phone. When you gotta talk, you gotta talk. The scene at the end completely made up for any of that. I love how he kissed her stomach and she says “we’re fine” and he says “we’re fine” and oh my, it was beautiful.
• I have to say I absolutely loved Brooke kicking some arse. I kept expecting Julian to come in and save the day but I LOVE that they chose for Brooke to use all of the hard work she’d put into it. She rocked all of that! We had a viewing party at my house tonight and all the girls on the couch were literally on the edge of their seat during the ending fight scene. It was great!
• Millie/Mouth. Yikes. That’s gotta hurt Mouth. And it doesn’t look like Brooke is going to be too happy.
• I liked Mia and Haley in this ep. It was good to see Haley in the studio even if she wasn’t working on her own stuff. Mia’s line about going to get a life was fab.
• I hate that Nathan can’t be number 23…really a bummer. But I like how they use Q’s number.
• Jamie and Andre were cute although I’m surprised the didn’t make a bigger deal out of them going missing….
• Oh and how can I forget Chase??? When he showed up we were like YES! Owen’s character once again gets the shaft but I like how they brought Chase in. And Chase and Mia seriously do have some on-screen chemistry going on. Love it!

What a fabulous episode! Love, love, loved it!
